Catanduanes is an island province that is part of bicol region, it is located in the southern part of Luzon. It is compose of 11 municipalities and its capital is Virac.

Catanduanes is known as the “Land of the Howling Winds” because it is prone for typhoons. But despite of it, everyone is still rising with a smile in their faces that’s why it is also known as “The Happy Island”.
Catanduanes has so much to offer, there are many breathtaking views like white sand beaches, landmarks, and beautiful and historical churches that you and your family will surely love. Also, people are very helpful, friendly and accomodating especially to the tourists.
Beautiful and Historical Churches

The Church of the Immaculate Conception also known as “Virac Cathedral”, situated at the heart of the capital town of Virac, remains a lasting proof to the deep faith of Viracnons and is an architectural heritage that is constantly being adored by locals and visitors alike.

When traveling, the first place that most of us was looking for aside from hotel is the church because we are known for being religious people. Virac Cathedral is one of the largest chruch in Catanduanes, it has a vibes or ambience just like in the Vatican Church.

Aside from Virac Cathedral, St. John the Baptist Church also known as Bato Church is one of the historical churches that Catanduanes has to offer, it is the oldest chruch in province.
Breathtaking Beaches

Twin Rock Beach otherwise called Igang Beach located southwest of Catanduanes, it is one of the best known and developed resorts in the island.

Majestic View Points

Binurong Point is one of the newest attractions the island of Catanduanes can offer. Binurong Point is located in Brgy. Guinsaanan, Baras, Catanduanes. A Batanes/Ireland hills & cliffs look and feel. Trekking to Binurong Point is easy unlike going to Bote Light House in Bato.

If you really want a very intense adventure, Binurong View Point is perfect for you. You need to trek for about 20 minutes before you get to the top and see the breathtaking views

Aside from Binurong Point, there’s also Abihao Point that is also located in Baras, Catanduanes. Just like Binurong Point, you have to trek for about 10-15 minutes.
